Large format inkjet printing on our HP DesignJets
Our large-format Inkjet printers make beautiful, artistic prints on canvas, or watercolor paper, as well as glossy and luster photo paper.
The HP Designjet 12-ink photo printer produces museum-quality color and
black-and-white giclée prints on watercolor, canvas and photo paper
that resist fading for over 200 years. Using HP Quad Black inks, it produces beautiful black and white prints, with neutral grays and
smooth transitions.
Our printers are also great for Trade Show Graphics, and Posters created in your layout application. The results are razor-sharp text and vector artwork, combined with high-quality photographic images, making an eye-catching print you can be proud of.
We also offer canvas stretching on wooden frames.* Museum wrap (image wraps over edge), and color edges are available. All staples are applied to the back of the frame only (not visible on edges).
Maximum output size is
58 inches (on 60 inch wide paper rolls).
Minimum size print is 2 square feet. Print Area rounded up to the
next square foot.
Multiple Originals ordered at the same time as your Originals, will
be discounted 20%.
*Stretching is only available for canvas prints printed at Chrome.

We welcome your poster layouts created in Powerpoint or other popular applications. We also offer layout and design services, and can create a professionally designed poster from your data submitted in Powerpoint or Word files, incorporating your company's color and design scheme if requested.
Chrome can also provide matching color laser handouts for distribution at your meeting.

Scientific poster FAQ
What is the turnaround time for printing from my finalized poster file?
Two days, three days with optional lamination. Rush service is available. We can accept poster files from Powerpoint, Illustrator, Coreldraw, InDesign, or from your .pdf file.
What is the turnaround for posters designed by Chrome from my data?
We recommend allowing approximately two weeks for the entire process. Data is usually submitted to us in Word or Powerpoint files. Proofs of your layout are provided to you via Acrobat PDF file, usually within three days. You then submit revisions and a new PDF file is quickly returned to you for further review. When all data is complete and accurate, we will print your poster and have it ready for delivery within a couple of days. To discuss your poster layout, please contact Cathy K. at 619-233-3456.
How do I submit my files to you?
Poster files can be e-mailed to output@chromedigital.com, or uploaded via FTP (recommended for files larger than 5MB). Please call 619-233-3456 to notify us of your e-mail or FTP submission. We will need to obtain your contact information, and description of your job including the final poster size.
Do I need to have my poster laminated?
We offer lamination for customers who want a more durable, moisture- and wrinkle-resistant poster, however, it is optional. Our photo paper is substantial, and if you handle the poster with care to avoid wrinkling and contact with moisture, it will travel well in a tube and look great at your meeting.
How can I take delivery of my poster?
Chrome is conveniently located near San Diego International Airport, so it's easy to pick it up on your way to catch your flight out of town. Also, we can ship posters via FedEx or UPS directly to your office or meeting. Courier delivery is available in the Sorrento Mesa/Golden Triangle area.
